How to Measure Your Wrist

Step 1: Find a String or Paper Strip
Choose a piece of string or a narrow strip of paper that can comfortably wrap around your wrist.

Step 2: Wrap It Around Your Wrist
Wrap the string or paper around the widest part of your wrist—just above the wrist bone.

Step 3: Mark the Overlapping Point
Use a pen or pencil to mark where the string or paper overlaps on your wrist.

Step 4: Use a Credit Card for a Rough Estimate
If you don’t have a ruler, use a credit card as a guide. The standard credit card width is approximately 3.37 inches (8.5 cm).

Step 5: Measure the Marked Length
a) Without a Ruler: Compare the marked section of the string to the width of a credit card to estimate your wrist size.
b) With a Ruler: Lay the string or paper flat and measure the marked length using a ruler for the most accurate result.

Step 6: Use an Online Ruler (Optional)
If you don’t have access to a ruler or credit card, use an online ruler. Click the button below to open a virtual ruler. Be sure to calibrate your screen as instructed on the website. Then, place the marked string or paper against the on-screen ruler to determine your wrist size.
