This Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all orders placed through alfabeads.com. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

All delivery times shown on our website or at checkout are estimates only, provided in good faith, and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. Delivery timeframes begin after order processing and carrier acceptance, not at the moment an order is placed.

Important for international orders: import duties, VAT/GST, customs fees, and local carrier handling charges are not included and may be collected from the recipient before delivery.

Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, U.S. federal holidays, and carrier-recognized holidays.

Order Processing

Processing Window

  • Orders received between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM Los Angeles time are generally processed the same business day.
  • Orders received after 2:00 PM Los Angeles time are generally processed the next business day.
  • We may require additional time for order verification, address confirmation, fraud screening, inventory reconciliation, peak-volume periods, inventory checks, or other operational reasons.

Preparation for Shipment

  • Local Delivery: generally next business day after processing.
  • Mail Shipping (U.S. and International): generally within 4 business days after processing.

We reserve the right to delay shipment until payment, billing, identity, shipping, or fraud-verification issues are resolved.

U.S. Mail Shipping

We use USPS for mail orders within the United States. After your order is processed and prepared for shipment, it is tendered to USPS for delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout. Tracking information will be provided when available.

Transit times are estimates only. Once the order has been accepted by USPS, delivery timing, routing, and scan events are controlled by the carrier and are outside our direct control.

International Shipping

International orders are currently shipped using USPS Priority Mail International Flat Rate service where available for the destination country. Transit times are estimated only and may vary significantly based on destination, customs clearance, local postal operations, weather, transportation availability, remote-area handling, labor disruptions, security procedures, and other events outside our control.

International shipments may be transferred to and completed by the destination country’s postal service or local delivery network after export processing and customs handling.

International service availability is subject to destination-country rules, USPS country conditions, service suspensions, import restrictions, and operational limitations. We reserve the right to refuse, hold, or cancel any order that cannot be lawfully, safely, or practically shipped to the destination country.

Customs, Duties, Taxes, and Import Charges

Unless expressly stated otherwise by us in writing, international orders are shipped without prepayment of import duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, customs clearance charges, brokerage or disbursement fees, storage charges, local delivery fees, or similar governmental or carrier-imposed charges in the destination country.

The recipient is solely responsible for all such charges and for complying with the laws, regulations, product restrictions, and import requirements of the destination country. By placing an international order, you acknowledge that you, or the recipient, may be required to pay additional amounts before delivery is completed.

All international shipments are subject to inspection by customs or other governmental authorities in the destination country. Customs authorities may delay, open, inspect, return, reject, seize, or destroy a shipment in accordance with applicable law. alfabeads is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, confiscation, or additional charges arising from customs inspection, customs decisions, or destination-country import rules.

Country Restrictions and Product Admissibility

Some countries restrict or prohibit certain materials, product categories, declared values, or methods of mailing. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the ordered merchandise may legally and practically be imported into the destination country. We may cancel an order and issue a refund of the product purchase price if we determine before shipment that the order cannot be shipped lawfully or safely.

Refused, Unclaimed, Undeliverable, or Returned International Shipments

If an international shipment is refused by the recipient, unclaimed, not accepted, undeliverable, held by customs or the local carrier due to non-payment of charges, or returned for any reason not caused by our error, the shipment may be returned to us, abandoned, or destroyed by the carrier or destination-country authorities.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any eligible refund in such circumstances may be reduced by all amounts incurred by us in connection with the shipment, including but not limited to outbound shipping charges, return postage, customs charges, duties, taxes, carrier handling fees, storage fees, disposal fees, and any other third-party charges. No refund will be due for merchandise that is abandoned, destroyed, confiscated, not returned to us, or returned damaged, incomplete, worn, or otherwise not in original saleable condition.

Address Accuracy and Delivery Information

The customer is solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address, recipient name, contact number, and any information required for customs or local delivery. We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, additional charges, or loss resulting from incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or undeliverable address information supplied at checkout.

Address changes, rerouting requests, or post-order delivery modifications are not guaranteed and may be refused once processing or fulfillment has begun.

Tracking, Delivery Confirmation, and Delivery Issues

Tracking availability, scan frequency, and delivery confirmation depend on the carrier, destination country, and local postal operations. A shipment may be considered delivered or delivery-attempted based on carrier records, including delivery scans, attempted-delivery scans, pickup notices, customs-release notices, or other official tracking events.

Except as required by applicable law, once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, our responsibility for transit delays or carrier-handling issues is limited to reasonable assistance with available carrier inquiries or claims, subject to carrier rules, included coverage, and any additional insurance actually purchased.

Packages Marked Delivered

If tracking shows that a package was delivered, delivery was attempted, or the package is available for pickup, the customer must first check with household members, neighbors, building management, pickup locations, and the local postal operator. If the package still cannot be located, contact us at info@alfabeads.com within 7 calendar days of the delivery scan.

Damaged Shipments

If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, the customer must retain the outer packaging, all internal packaging, and the merchandise, and contact us at info@alfabeads.com within 5 calendar days of delivery. Please include the order number and clear photographs of the packaging, shipping label, and damage. Failure to preserve packaging or provide timely notice may limit our ability to assist with any carrier claim.

Local Los Angeles Delivery

Local Delivery is available only for eligible addresses within our service area when the option appears at checkout. If Local Delivery is not shown at checkout, it is not available for your address.

Local Delivery is generally completed the next business day after processing. On the day of delivery, we may provide an estimated arrival window based on our logistics schedule. Any requested time preference is not guaranteed.

You are expected to be available to receive the package. If you authorize contactless drop-off, we may leave the package at the address provided and confirm completion with a photo. If we are unable to complete delivery because the address is inaccessible, unsafe, incorrect, unattended when signature or direct handoff is required, or because you do not respond to delivery communications, the order may be returned to our facility and additional redelivery charges may apply.

Order Delays

Occasional delays may occur due to warehouse workload, technical issues, inventory reconciliation, fraud review, carrier capacity, customs processing, destination-country postal operations, weather events, force majeure events, or incomplete customer information. We may, but are not obligated to, provide updated estimates when reasonably available.

Except as required by applicable law, transit delays occurring after carrier acceptance do not entitle the customer to cancel the order, refuse payment, or demand a refund of shipping charges or product price solely on the basis of delay.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, alfabeads shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of shipping delays, customs processing, non-delivery caused by destination-country restrictions, carrier errors, tracking interruptions, refused delivery, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
